During the month of Ramadan, Singapore’s historic Kampong Gelam district comes alive with lights, flavours and community spirit at the annual Kampong Gelam Ramadan Bazaar.
Running from 11 February to 15 March 2026, the bazaar operates daily from approximately 2:00pm to 11:00pm, transforming the streets around Sultan Mosque into a vibrant evening marketplace.
Whether you are visiting Singapore for the first time or returning during the festive season, this is one of the most atmospheric cultural experiences in the city.
What to Expect
With over 100 stalls featuring halal-certified food, beverages and retail vendors, the bazaar offers a mix of:

Closest MRT: Bugis MRT Station (Downtown or East-West Line).
The bazaar is easily accessible via public transport:
- Walk through Bugis + and Bugis Junction Shopping Centre, just behind the hotel, towards Bugis MRT Station (Basement 1 of Bugis Junction mall)
- From Exit B (look out for the signs towards raffles hospital), it is approximately a 5–7 minute walk to Kampong Gelam.
- Once you spot the dome of the Sultan Mosque, keep walking towards it, that’s where your bazaar journey begins. Just follow the line of stalls and explore!
